Consequences of poor diet

Poor nutrition has consequences on health: it produces overweight, obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, joint problems, etc..
Here are some tips to better manage your diet and maintain your health.

Excess or insufficient food intake

The unbalanced diet comes from an excess or insufficiency of food intake.

The excess reflects an excessive amount of food or poor quality of food consumed: often high in fat and carbohydrates, fat and sugar, soft drinks, etc..

The imbalance food also comes from the lack of foods rich in complex carbohydrates and fiber bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, pulses, etc..

The importance of eating at mealtimes

The disruption of meals and snacks are the main causes of nutritional imbalance. This involves eating outside mealtimes, fatty foods and / or sweet, while promoting weight gain.

To avoid snacking, food intake of each must be organized into 3 meals a day(breakfast, lunch, dinner), at fixed times. In case of the munchies, a balanced snack can be established.

Attention also to never skip meals, snacks provided otherwise.

Combine diet and physical activity

The physical activity is essential for good health.

Combined with a balanced diet, physical activity reduces:

- Cardiovascular risks;

- The risk of diabetes;

- The bad cholesterol in favor of good cholesterol.

It helps to maintain, over the years, a good joint health.
