Dyslipidemia of type 2A

Also known as hypercholesterolemia essential, it corresponds to an excess of cholesterol in the blood. This is the most common form in hereditary component. It is causing cardiovascular complications.
 dylipidémie type iia
When there is high cholesterol, the rate of cholesterol is high, while that of triglycerides is normal.

Symptoms

For a variety of factors, arteries can become clogged and damaged. But without major obstruction, no symptoms manifest physically. It is therefore necessary to regularly monitor the condition and refer if in doubt.
Pain in the chest or legs may indicate a loss of functionality of the arteries. In this case, experts believe that the functional deficit already stands at least 75%.

Those at risk are:

- Individuals with a family history of hypercholesterolemia;

- Persons with a family history of premature cardiovascular disease (before age 55 for men and before 65 for women);

- Men over 45 years;

- Women over 55 years and those who had a premature menopause.

How to detect dyslipidemia of type 2A?

The lipid made from blood tests used to evaluate:

- The amount of cholesterol (TC);

- The amount of HDL or "good" cholesterol;

- The amount of LDL or "bad cholesterol" .

How to fight against dyslipidemia type IIA?

If the patient is overweight, the diet is often enough to return cholesterol to normal. But if weight is not excessive and that cholesterol is still high, especially with too high a rate of LDL cholesterol, follow a more precise. The amount of calories will be one that allows the patient not to grow. It will be harmoniously distributed between carbohydrates, lipids and proteins, with emphasis on vegetable fats.

Will largely limit the patient fast absorbing sugars (soft drinks, sugar cubes, pastries, etc..) And alcoholic beverages (but in principle it is not necessary to remove them completely). Finally, it must reduce its consumption of products that bring cholesterol, like brains, pig kidney, calf liver, egg yolk, butter and cheese fat.

The system is very slow to take effect, and it will take between four and six months before observing a decrease in cholesterol.
