CARDIO AT HOME: WHAT CAMERA TO CHOOSE?

The treadmill, elliptical, cycling fitness and rowing are all devices you can install in your home for your sessions cardio .But which one to choose?

What should I know about each of these devices cardio to choose yours?

The treadmill
This device allows you to simply jogging on a treadmill. Even if the upper body is a little used, it is essentially the lower body working (thighs, buttocks, calves).Attention, while the body weight rests on the knees!

The elliptical
This device reproduces movements similar to those that are performed in-country skiing. All muscles work, from bottom to top: calves, thighs, buttocks, back, chest, biceps, triceps. Attention knees are highly stressed (to avoid problems in case of meniscus).

Cycling Fitness
This bike is equipped with a regulator of resistance to pedaling. It makes work a lot of muscles and joints, but seeks primarily the lower body (thighs, buttocks, calves). It has the advantage of preserving shocks.

Rower
It reproduces the movements of the oar. Complete it muscle arms (biceps), thighs, buttocks, back, shoulders and even the belly. It also helps relax the muscles and joints.

The stepper
The stepper reproduces the upward movement of steps on stairs. It tones the buttocks and legs: hamstrings, quadriceps, calves and glutes.

Note that these activities can be practiced by listening to music or watching television. A good aid to motivation and perseverance.
Indeed, whatever the device, remember that it is the regularity that pays. It is therefore essential to establish a program and stick to it long term. Ideally, keep a schedule and clearly state your progress and give yourself targets progressive (duration, performance ...).
