PEOPLE WITH HYPERTENSION HAVE LESS HAIR!

Is there a relationship between blood pressure and hair loss ? The answer is yes. Overall, people with hypertension are more prone to hair loss , and conversely, men who lose their hair more frequently hypertension .

Hair loss and blood pressure

The androgenic alopecia, or loss of hair caused by hormones, is particularly common among men with coronary artery disease. The cause and effect of this relationship has never been elucidated. The hypertension represents a major risk factor for coronary artery disease, a team of researchers has examined whether hypertensive patients were more prone to hair loss.

Is there more hair loss in hypertensive patients?

To do this, they recruited 250 people aged 35 to 65 years and collected many data, including the possible existence of hypertension , diabetes, a smoking, high cholesterol, a alopecia family, etc.. In the end, only a relationship between hypertension and hair loss has been demonstrated. None of the other factors was associated with the value of blood pressure.

In case of hair loss, consider making your blood!

In conclusion, we can recommend to people who tend to lose their hair to check the voltage. It is possible that they are hypertensive patients. However excess voltage promotes cardiovascular disease. It should take very seriously this anomaly and correct it.
