Why do some men lose their hair early?

• 43% suffer from a loss of confidence in their physical charms;
• 42% fear of becoming bald;
• 37% are afraid to look older;
• 21% (one in five) have depressive disorders because of the fall of their hair ;
• only 7% receive treatment and three-quarters have never taken this approach to the problem;
• men who were treated were satisfied with the outcome and felt psychological benefits, including improved self-confidence.

Hair loss: what are the treatments for premature baldness?

There are two effective treatments against hair loss, which can stop or delay the fall of hair :

• Finasteride (Propecia ®), oral (tablets), prevents the harmful activity of androgens on hair bulbs. It stops the loss of hair in 86% of individuals after one year of treatment;
• Minoxidil ®, topical (lotion), promotes the regrowth of hair whose bulb is kept alive. It delays the fall of hair that without him would have fallen earlier.
