Slimming: The best sports for weight loss

To remove the extra pounds and reshape your body, increase your energy costs by focusing on endurance activities.

Finding the right pace

The only way to force your body to go and draw energy from its reserves and thus released fats will cause you to be on time. Better to work for an hour at moderate pace 20 minutes at a speed too fast.

Exhaust yourself is useless. Not only will you unnecessarily tiring your heart but you may get discouraged very quickly. The ideal? Move between 30 and 45 minutes 3 times a week.

Heart

The intensity of your effort should be neither too low nor too high. The fatigue and the shortness of breath are of course good indicators that need to be careful. But be sure to take the right pace, nothing beats a heart rate monitor.

This accessory, which you find in all sports stores, you can be sure your heart rate is good between 60 and 70% for physical activity as recommended by specialists.

NB : if you have 30, you must not exceed 70% of 220-your age is 70% of 190 or 133 beats per minute.

Sports preferable to slim

Rollerblading. Very specific movements to perfection galbent buttocks and thighs. And provided well equipped (helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, wrist guards) and to properly warm up, it is a sport much less traumatic to the joints and back than jogging.

Swimming with fins. This business is booming in the basins and because it draws the legs of a goddess. More fins are longer, the stress is intense and therefore effective side muscles. But beginners will prefer the short model (20 cm), more manageable.

Jogging. Complete sport par excellence since it tones the legs, buttocks, stomach and even arms, jogging requires some precautions. Equip yourself with a good pair of shoes, warm up before every ride, stretch at the end of each race and, especially, do not go beyond your strength.

Do not underestimate walking

It is estimated that half an hour of brisk walking, that is to say at 7-8 mph, would burn at least 200 calories per hour, the equivalent of a chocolate eclair. On this account, just walking 4 or 5 times per week for 30 minutes at a steady pace, you can expect to lose a pound a month.

To draw a silhouette untied the habit of looking straight ahead, chin up, back straight, shoulders down and shoulder blades tight. To work your arms, highlight their swing but you wiggle. And if you tend to over-arch, pull your stomach and tighten your buttocks.
