Everyone knows the hemorrhoids, so many people suffer from but few talk about it, probably because of their location. Yet the crisis hemorrhoid is a benign but particularly painful.Fortunately, hemorrhoids treatmentsexist.

What are the symptoms of hemorrhoids?

The hemorrhoids are varicose veins located in and around the vent. They may be internal or external. In the latter case, it is called prolapsed hemorrhoids.
The hemorrhoids can occur by two types of symptoms:
  • pain, sometimes violent and intolerable, burning, itching, throbbing, but also a feeling of heaviness in the anus and foreign body.
  • Hemorrhoidal thrombosis (swelling external blue, round and hard from the formation of a clot) are also important sources of pain;
  • bleeding most often during defecation.
  • They result from lesions of the capillary network adjacent to the hemorrhoidal area. They are scarce, but must bring them to consult in order to exclude more serious origins like cancer for example.

What are the factors contributing to or triggering hemorrhoids?

The occurrence of hemorrhoids is favored by heredity (some families are more susceptible to hemorrhoids than others), constipation and pregnancy, because it leads to venous hypertension.

Meanwhile, there are factors known triggers, such as physical inactivity, eating too much fat, alcohol, spices and heat. Factors to avoid are those that generally result in stagnation or increase in venous blood vessels in the anal, the cause of dilated veins.

What treatments for hemorrhoids?

For problems withhemorrhoids, they resorted to drug treatment when the preventive measures listed above are insufficient: non-irritant laxatives, anti-inflammatory or veinotonics. There are also antiseptic and anesthetic creams applied locally on the hemorrhoids.

In about 10% of cases, surgery anti hemorrhoid needed: coagulation (resulting in multiple injections), ligatures (tightens the base of thehemorrhoid, causing its necrosis) and cryotherapy (cold). Ultimately, they practice excision ofhemorrhoids.
