WHAT DO YOU EAT TOMORROW?



In the last SIAL (International Food) held in October, the major trends of thefood were unveiled. Your behavior of consumers have been analyzed, dissected. It shows that we can not make you buy anything! Panorama.

You want to know

You're now demanding in terms of information on food products. It is not enough for an expert to tell you that anonymous "is good" for you or your child, you want us to prove it to you. And for that, you read the labels, not ever really understand.
IFN (Institute French nutrition) and CLCV (Confederation of consumption, housing and environment) have partnered to publish a brochure on labelingfood and another on the signs of quality.

You will therefore focus on increasing the food that you clearly indicate their composition and in their advertising campaign, do not advance arguments "cans."
You will not be considered more as a consumer who absorbs anything but a "consomacteur" who knowingly chooses. 

You want simple food and natural

You are more attracted to food that are not too sophisticated, that does not involve a myriad of ingredients, its packaging is bright and clear.
This naturalness is reassuring because it seems like a guarantee of safety, there's no risk in consuming them.
That's why you'll do more hunting for suspect ingredients (such as vegetable oil, for example) because you want to know and understand what is in a product.
You will also consume more and more food ready to eat healthy, like bricks in soups, steamed vegetables frozen to reheat in the microwave etc..
Especially at the same time they are good for your balanced diet and your health.

You prefer products that are good for your health ...

... And fashionable!
You buy more and more organic products because they do not contain pesticides (or are not supposed to contain). You are attracted by green tea, supposed to protect you from almost everything.
But you are also attracted by "super" fruits of which you boast special nutritional qualities, like goji berries, even if you do not have evidence of their benefits.
In these cases, you are sometimes at odds with your need for transparency, reliable information and evidence.

You get closer more and more local products

You will increasingly prefer not only fruits and vegetables but also meat that isproduced if not in your area, at least in France, whether organic or not organic.
Because you've discovered that they were better because of the season, harvested at maturity and not kept in cold storage and also because you became aware of the great waste of energy that represented the conservation and transportation. 

You want food ecological

You will be more attracted by products whose culture, components and manufacturing preserve the planet.
The concern for the environment, as you apply to your diet (hence the local products, see above). You choose preferably a product that displays a CO2 label. These are such that tobacco will grow also in the restoration.

You always want the exotic

However you will always be attracted by what comes from elsewhere, byingredients exotic. Not only because these other flavors you are traveling, out of daily life but also and especially because you are still curious, you love to explore. You run increasingly also in unusual combinations of flavors.

You gladly buy fair trade products

Because you are attached to a certain ethic and you do not want to offer you afun food to the detriment of some populations.
When it's fair trade and organic at the same time, you are completely seduced.
