GARDENING? USE IT TO YOUR MUSCLES!

Digging, hoeing, clearing ... Weeding, sowing and reaping ... Take the opportunity to do some stretching and increase your muscle! Perform these exercises as breaks between tasks. You will be enthralled and they will soon become automatic.

The gym in gardening: year 1

You're kneeling in front of your plants? Bend your head forward for 4 or 5 seconds and then very slowly realize circumduction (or circles) of the neck in one direction, then another.

6 circles in total.

The gym in gardening: year 2

Kneeling, legs together, arms straight and parallel, head up and straight back: raise the body by mounting arms simultaneously at the head and then sit on your heels.

8 times.

The gym in gardening: Exercise 3

Get up, back straight and head high, chin slightly tucked to stretch the spine.Put your arms crossed and then stretch them back up for 8 seconds. Remember to breathe deeply.

5 times.

Our tip

While gardening, alternate positions examined with standing positions (not to exceed 10 minutes in the same position) and avoid working at arms length. Your posture should always be comfortable.
