I LOSE MY HAIR, IT'S SERIOUS DOCTOR?

You lose your hair ? Right now, after your shower, you get a little more hair than usual? Take a tour of potential triggers to look for that or those which could explain your hair loss today.Identify you will be remedied, without stress or wait to decide on a visit to the dermatologist.

It is normal to lose every day up to a hundred hair . They renew themselves constantly at a pace well defined. However, if your regular hair fall out more diffusely (as opposed to hair loss localized to certain areas) is likely the result of precipitating factors.

What are the factors leading to diffuse hair loss?

A diet too restrictive.
A serious accident.
Important psycho-shock.
Stress.
General anesthesia.
A surgical shock.
High fever and prolonged.
Hemorrhage.
Taking certain medications, chemotherapy, psychotropics, antihypertensives, anticoagulants, anti-inflammatory, brain scan.
Hormonal changes: after puberty, during the 2-3 months following childbirth, at the time of menopause, for 2 to 3 months after cessation of oral contraception (the pill).
Anaemia: iron deficiency can slow the process of regrowth hair . It is common in women, particularly in cases of heavy periods and during pregnancy. This factor is easily removed by performing a blood test.
A disorder of the thyroid dysfunction of the thyroid results in a set of nonspecific symptoms such as weight changes, irregular heartbeat, fatigue, etc.. So it is a hair loss associated with these symptoms may suggest a thyroid origin. To remove any doubt, just consult your doctor to perform a blood test of thyroid hormones.
Attention, other factors trigger a hair loss sudden and brutal (stress, general anesthesia, fever, shock psycho ...) and others a more gradual fall (hormonal changes, medications, thyroid disease, anemia ...).
When hair loss is diffuse, it is sufficient to eliminate or treat the trigger that it stops. Where this is not possible, it is best to consult to prevent and reassurance.

There is another form of hair loss : localized to certain areas. This is usually alopecia areata or alopecia which always requires a consultation.
Finally, assault scalp causing hair loss localized: chemicals (dyes, perms, frizz, relaxers), buns or braids too tight.
