HOPE DISAPPOINTED GROWTH HORMONE NOT GETTING YOUNGER!

In the quest for eternal youth, growth hormone plays a major role. But the popularity of this molecule does not meet expectations. Supporting evidence.

This molecule is very popular across the Atlantic, but also in Europe, in the mad race for rejuvenation . Some "pharmacies anti-aging" do not hesitate to offer seniors this elixir to the followers of hormonal therapies . At inflated prices, you can also get them on the Internet today, in various forms (injectable, oral, nasal), all without proof of its effectiveness.

This hormone, whose levels drop on average by 10% every ten years from the age of 20, started his success in the early ninety. Indeed, at that time, the results of a study showing surprising effects have been published. Twelve men aged 61-81 years treated for 6 months of growth hormone, have found a surprising fitness without diet or exercise or perform physical, including an increase in lean body mass, decreased fat mass and improved bone density in lumbar vertebrae. But on the other hand, their blood pressure and blood sugar have been a significant increase, not recommended in this age group.
Since then, knowing that growth hormone alters weight distribution lean and fat, researchers are trying to prove, without success, improved muscle strength.Indeed, if the substance modifies favorably silhouette, it does not increase physical performance . This finding is now confirmed by the results of an analysis that compared the relative merits of a progressive exercise training for 14 weeks, with or without hormone therapy. Among these 18 seniors from 65 to 82 years, growth hormone has not improved their muscle strength .However, the beneficial effects of exercise on their performance is certain, and much cheaper!

Meanwhile, some people use this treatment of "comfort", while that is unknown side effects . The risk of cancer is plausible with such hormonal stimulation. We know, for example, without proving causation, that the risk of being diagnosed with prostate cancer is multiplied by 4.3 in men with elevated blood growth hormone than a quarter to normal compared to those lying in the bottom quarter. Data suggest that reflect and encourage caution.
